Command Lines in Firefox?
As some of you might know, there is an extension for Firefox called Ubiquity, that allows you to type in commands such as “map cleveland street london” to bring up a Google Map of that location, or “amazon-search the great gatsby” to find that book on Amazon, without visiting the website directly.
Currently Ubiquity has more then 1200 commands in its library and according to Mozilla, over 200 000 user.
Now the Mozilla development team has stated a new project. The project is dubbed Taskfox and will “take the time-saving ideas behind Ubiquity, and put them into Firefox”.
So if your a nerd like me with a love for commandbased programs, look forward to the new upcoming taskfox.
