Less rainbow and more dark for RJD. Here’s a statement from Wendy Dio (wife, daughter, sister,transvestite relative?):

Ronnie has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. We are starting treatment immediately at the Mayo Clinic. After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans.

Thanks to all the friends and fans around the world that have sent well wishes. This has really helped to keep his spirit up.

Long Live Rock and Roll, Long Live Ronnie James Dio

Fucking cancer.

The reincarnation of Dio-era Black Sabbath (you know, the good one) have released a track from the bands upcoming first album.

The track, entitled “Bible Black”, is great but it raises some questions about the direction of the forthcoming album, “The Devil You Know”.

Bible Black is also the name of an intensely popular Hentai video game, which has spawned multiple anime spin-offs.

While I’m not one to judge the great R.J. Dio, I never would have taken him for a hentai nerd, but hey Ronnie, it’s all cool with me man, nobody’s judging you.
