Finnish Metal 2 will kick off in January 2011 in Orlando Florida and will continue until March. Support will be provided by Rotten Sound and Barren Earth.
I suggest everyone go out and see this show, Ensiferum is an excellent live act. And Finntroll, while not quite as exciting on-stage, brings a crowd that is like nothing you have ever seen and is guaranteed to be a good time.

Nifelvind, Finntroll‘s new album is out now in Europe. That doesn’t mean it’s not available anywhere else though… Anyway, I’m giving it a listen right now and with every song I’m reminded why Finntroll is such a great band. They will never top Jaktens Tid in my heart, but that doesn’t mean they have to give up on making good music. This album continues the troll’s quest for expanding their sound and folksing up their metal in ways untried before. The result? A very enjoyable album.
….and ‘Moses the Moose’ with the news that their latest album Mot Skuggornas Väld is mastered and due for release in early 2010!
Whoever doubts whether Finntroll will retain their title as ‘Most Metal of them All’ in the coming years should have a listen to the scattered clips within and fucking smack themselves in the face!
FINNTROLL, Century Media Records and King Foo Entertainment announce the signing of a worldwide deal to unleash the next three FINNTROLL albums.
FINNTROLL adds: “Yeah, that’s right peeps. We’re most enthusiastic to announce our signing with Century Media Records. We decided to continue our long co-op with CM, thanks to Jens ‘very special’ Prueter and Mr. Rosie of King Foo. FINNTROLL felt it’s time to work directly with CM this time as we have all the trust with them and they have never let us down in the past. Our new album will be released worldwide through CM in early 2010, and with that said we’re gonna do some heavy touring, that’s gonna start in February in Europe and after that we’re gonna sail across the ocean to North America. See ya on the road
